This is actually...beautiful

This paper work represents every appointment, procedure, surgery, ER visit and hospitalization I have had at U of M. I'm required to have a copy of my medical records in order to apply for Disability...so my question...can I fax it?
Just kidding!
I'll probably have to go into the office in Lansing and apply there. Now all I have left to do is file taxes and when I get the returns I can go in and do this thang!

Oh...and yes, this is a hint....

and here's some other leakage....

...God has been molding us and preparing us for this for the last 30 years...

So Josh is working on a very well put together Blog announcement about the "BIG NEWS" buzz going around on FB...who started that anyway?!?!?

So here's a hint or 2...
Some of you already (sorta) know what this is about....
It has to do with BIG life changes (no..I'm not pregnant)
AND...we need lots of prayer and support....

So our renter had to back out of the contract and gave us a month and a half notice.

So we're back to having no idea. We need to sell our house before we go because we are NOT going to be dealing with this sort of thing from 18 hours away. So if you would pray that we find a buyer (and quickly) so we can be free of that. Then we'll go from there.

In the meantime, there are still 7 families who HAVE moved to Pensacola and need your support as well. Prayer, Encouragment, Financial....what ever you can do.

So we're shooting for August.
That's right folks! We're tentatively setting a tentative date for mid August. And I say tentatively because God is STILL in control and I don't know what his schedule looks like.

Baby steps...

So we have moved in with our new, gracious hosts, Ben & Katy Watts.
We have a new mailing address and our belongings are, once again, spread over a number of miles(with part here and part back in our garage). We are renting out our house to a young man who plans to save for a year and then purchase our home. We are blessed to be a part of this new journey in his life and hope HE is in turn blessed. It was hard for us to get into our house. Without the help and grace from my Aunt & Uncle and experience and understanding from a great mortgage guy ( David Ransdell @ Capital Mortgage) it would not have happened. Thanks God for orchestrating everything!
As for now, we're still in Tulsa, taking baby steps towards our new home...Pensacola, FL.

The lastest

We had planned to move 04.11.09 but didn't get the packing done that we needed to. We're close...oh so close. We'll be spending our Easter Sunday packing, packing, packing. We have to have it all packed and moved and the house cleaned by Friday because our new renters are moving in on Saturday. Yikes!
Our friends Tony & Alisha are in town for the week. They are a part of The Harbor and have already moved their family to Pensacola. Wednesday we're all getting together to have dinner and fellowship. And then on Friday there is a baby shower for Alisha. It's a girl! This will be their third child. Yay God!
So a busy week for the Pomeroy family.

The latest on the house

Boy did it get chilly over night!

Well, today two of they guys that will be renting are bringing some stuff over. This week we will be packing up hard core and plan to move out on Saturday, 11th. We will be moving in with our gracious hosts, Ben & Katy Watts. For now the plan is to stay with them until they sell their house and then we'll move to Pensacola together.

WE'RE MOVING!

But not to Florida yet...

We will be packing up, cleaning and moving out of our cute little house mid-end of April. Then our new renters will be moving in May 1st. Ben DeVary, Jake DeVary, and Rodney are taking their next steps in life and moving out of their parents home to begin their own journey.Ben is the oldest of the guys and hopes to get a good job here in Catoosa, OK. Then he would like to buy our house. This is exciting news for us. Ben and Jake are brothers and their parents Cori & Rick, along with their younger sister(Destiny) & brother(Teddy) are one of the families moving to Pensacola to be a part of The Harbor ministries.

We really didn't want to rent because we wanted to sell and be done with it so we could move. But we are learning that God Moves in ways we don't always understand.

One thing that Josh and I did know is that we wanted our house to be a BLESSING to it's next owner. We had a rough time getting into this house but God used the talents of David Ransdell at Capital Mortgage to get us here. And so we want to help in anyway we can, even if it means letting someone rent until they are ready to buy. The guys came by to look at the house a week ago or so and liked it. We set the moving date and now we're all getting ready.

Ben & Katy Watts are graciously giving us their master bedroom and bathroom to live in until we all move to Florida together. The DeVary family, the Watt family, and Josh & I are the three families left in Tulsa. Our other friends have all made their journey to Pensacola and await God's timing to send us to join them. But for now, we continue to fellowship together and learn God's lessons for us. Patiently awaiting our turn to go.

Our Trip to Pensacola

What a wonderful trip. We spent a day in the downtown area of Pensacola. Such a cute town. And we even caught the tail end of the Farmer's Market where we bought fresh oranges. After scarfing down the most amazing orange I have ever had, we went to the beach. We spent the rest of the afternoon looking for shells and watching the sun begin to set. It was so amazing to be where we are sepposed to be. To see the town and life we would soon be a part of...made it more real somehow.

Josh and I are going to get involved in the Farmer's Market selling our paintings, photographs, jewelry and other hand crafted items. Hoping to connect with people and earn a living with our God-given talents. We also would like to find an apartment right in or very near to downtown. Josh and I feel called to this area.
